What will it actually cost?
Real procedure prices from hospitals' federally mandated
transparency files — the rates insurers actually negotiate, and the cash
prices hospitals don't advertise.
About this data. Prices come directly from each hospital's
machine-readable standard-charges file (CMS v3.0.0), published under the
federal Hospital Price Transparency rule (45 CFR §180). "Commercial
median" is the median dollar-denominated rate negotiated by commercial
insurers, after removing junk values (<$15) and extreme outliers.
Every price is an estimate — your cost depends on your plan, deductible,
and the services actually performed. Always confirm with the provider
before scheduling. Procedure names are our own plain-English
descriptions, not official code descriptors.
